ENNAH - European Network on Noise
& Health: APPLICATION

The 10th International Congress on Noise as a Public Health Problem was held between July 24th -28th 2011 in London, UK, organized by the UK Institute of Acoustics on behalf of the International Commission on the Biological Effects of Noise (ICBEN). This congress aimed to present the current state of the art in research on the biological effects of noise on health. At the congress, papers and posters were presented on topics including noise induced hearing loss, noise and communication, non-auditory physiological effects of noise on health, influence of noise on performance and behaviour, effects of noise on sleep, community responses to noise, noise and animals, interactions with other agents and contextual factors and noise policy and economics.
