- psycho-physiological
investigations of jet-lag and shift work in terms of sleep (elecrophysiologically
defined sleep stages) and circadian rhythm disturbance.
- field studies
to assess the degree of sleep disturbance due to aircraft noise around
the main UK airports.
- assessing the
noise nuisance and sleep disturbance, annoyance and complaint (particularly
to noise) in communities close to airports
- the effects
of alcohol, exercise, aircraft noise, fibromyalgia and obstructive
sleep apnoea on the circadian and sleep stage structure
- the cause
and consequence of sleep disturbance and arousals
- interaction
of loud music and social drugs in young adults.
